Shotgun Ammo

Shotgun ammunition is one of the most popular options available to American shooters today. Extremely flexible with the ability to take down waterfowl with small shot or be the ultimate protector when armed with slugs, shotgun rounds are economical and pack a wallop with the right round.

Look for 12-gauge ammo, 10-gauge, 16-gauge, 20-gauge, 28-gauge and 410 bore in stock here at AmmoToGo.com. New to shotguns? No problem, just remember the smaller the gauge number, the bigger the recoil and the larger the round. 12-gauge packs a bigger punch than 20-gauge ammo, for example. In contrast, when it comes to shot size, the larger the number, the smaller the pellets. #9 shot is ideal for clay targets while a #4 shotgun shell is better suited for relatively large birds, like turkey.

Not sure where to start or curious about what shotgun you should pick-up? Check out our guide comparing the 12 gauge and 20 gauge shotguns here.

We carry a full line-up of shotgun ammo for sale from name brands that have been protecting and feeding American families. Look for Winchester, Remington, and Federal shotgun rounds at the links below:

DEER DO NOT WALK AWAY FROM THESE. I GOT TIRED OF HAVING TO FIND THEM 100 OR MORE YARDS AWAY FROM WHERE I SHOT THEM WITH 2 3/4" SHELLS. I HEAR THE SISSYS WITH THEIR PANTY HOSE ON CRYING ABOUT IT BEING TUFF ON THEIR SHOULDERS BUT IT NEVER BOTHERED ME. THE PRICE WAS VERY GOOD AND THE SHIPPING FAST.

Great ammo and at a GREAT price!! These are the only rounds that shoot consistently well through my Mossberg 595. Locally, stores that used to sell this ammo stopped a few years ago for some reason nor could any of them order it. The last time I bought any locally I bought the last 3 boxes they had and they lasted me a couple of deer seasons. This year was the same as well, no luck locally so I hit the inter webs and I found this website, luckily you all had it. AND bonus!!! it was less than I was paying locally to get it even with shipping. As far as performance of the ammo it self, everything stated on the box is accurate!! Period. I consistently shoot 3 inch groups at 100 yds (although I have never shot a deer at more than 60-70 yards where I hunt) there are only 2 hits, me hitting the deer and the deer hitting the ground. Weight retention and structural integrity of the bullet after impact is almost 100%.
