The M1 Garand is certainly one of those weapons. Famously called \u201cthe greatest battle implement ever devised\u201d by General Patton, the M1 Garand was the first standard-issue autoloading rifle used by the United States military.<\/p>\n

Carried in conflicts that include the second World War and the Korean War, the M1 Garand remains a popular rifle for sport shooters, hunters, and nostalgic-minded firearm enthusiasts.<\/p>\n
