It’s loaded with nearly one ounce of #7.5 shot, pellets which provide the range and spread that are considered optimal for ensnaring whirling clays -- or, in his case, heirloom grade ceramics. This shell is nicely equipped with a hinged wad that soaks up recoil while still providing a 1,200 fps muzzle velocity. That speed and Winchester’s deformation resistant shot keeps patterns tight so you’ve a better chance of getting a clay even after it has whizzed far away.

These 250 shells provide great value because their hearty yellow hulls won’t object to being handloaded in the slightest.
