Hone the cylinder a little bit. Grafite the chamber .

I purchased this ammo based on the quality of the 7.62 ammo, but I had more than 50% misfires in my 1950's Savage over-under. Winchester .410 buckshot worked perfectly, so it wasn't the gun. Overall, not all Golden Bear is made equal!

Just so all you know, this was in no way designed for the Taurus Judge. It is made for Saiga .410 AK style shotguns which is works awesome in. It will also work in other .410's as long as it doesn't have a tight chamber (ie: a pistol). Older bolt action .410's and even the Mossberg HD pump .410 should handle this fine as their tolerances in respect to the chamber are "sloppier". Now, on to performance...

These things pack a pretty good punch, the pellets are actually .32 in diameter which is #0 buckshot if I recall correctly. It'll blow up a cantelope 30 feet in all directions. It would be a great HD load, especially in an apartment where over penetration could be an issue. These are basically half the firepower of a 12 gauge double aught buckshot, which isn't bad at all, especially for ladies or disabled people. I actually have it loaded up for my disabled Vietnam vet father in my Saiga .410 as his boogie man weapon seeing as there is virtually zero recoil. These are really worth the cash considering how much birdy shot in this caliber tends to cost.
Oh, one more note on the whole Taurus Judge thing. Yeah, you will get stuck shell cases but in a self defense situation, if you need to reload your .410 wheel gun, you are pretty much screwed anyways. When you want to practice with them, just bring a wooden dowel with you to pop out stuck cases and you're good. Or better yet, use these for practice only and buy the Winchester plastic ones for a carry load, will save you a lot of money but these do really pack more of a punch.

So beware Judge owners, now you know the facts about this so don't go buying it and rating it crappy when it wasn't made for your weapon (even though it will work fine as I stated before about you are screwed if you need to reload your .410 wheel gun in a SD situation).

I shoot bear products in all my AK style weapons and some others and the best thing I can say about it is consistency considering the price. It'll go boom every time and I have yet had a failure to cycle in any way, shape or form.

Bought 25rds to use in my Taurus Judge Magnum 3". Didn't get passed the first shot without a problem.. The case swelled preventing the cylinder from rotating.. Then after getting through the first 5rds it was nearly impossible to eject the cases. Tried 5 more, did the same, threw the rest in the trash.. Don't waste your money..
