This 22 WMR cartridge is from CCI’s high quality Maxi-Mag line of ammunition and features a 40 grain total metal jacket. Such a bullet delivers smooth feeding and promotes a cleaner bore like a full metal jacket, but additionally covers the bullet’s base. That keeps red hot propellant gas from evaporating the lead in its core, a great benefit to your lungs if you like shooting indoors or very often.

This cartridge delivers its caliber’s famously fast muzzle velocity -- 1,875 fps out of a rifle barrel. Its projectile may not expand, but with that kind of flat trajectory and 166 ft lbs of muzzle energy at 100 yards out, this round is still a great choice for thinning out a varmint population.

Great little bullet. I like to use sole ids for hunting. The hollow points are fine for varmints but not good for game you intend to eat. The hollow points explode on contact and cause massive tissue damage due to fragmentation.

Great source to find these very hard to locate mag 40g shells. Have been looking everywhere for them locally and could never ding.
