Compared this Rem. load ,using a Ruger LCR 38 +P 1 7/8", in back to back testing with Hornady Critical Defense 110 gr. +P load. Double layer of denim in front of three plastic gal. milk containers of water was the test medium. The hornady bullet split jug no. 1 three ways top to bottom, penetrated jug no.2 with approx. 1" entrance hole and a noticeable dent on opposite side. Bullet expansion was complete and weight still 110grs. This Rem HTP 110gr. bullet had similar effect on first jug with slightly less length in lines of splitting. On jug no.2 the entrance hole was about 1/8" larger in dia. and the dent on the opposite side was significant to the point of breakage and water leakage. The recovered Rem. bullet from inside was completely expanded with a larger dia. frontal area but not folded back to the degree of of the hornady. The expanded weight was 110.1 grs. This ammunition is clean burning with very manageable recoil in the LCR as occurred in accuracy testing at 25'. Offhand laser dot 5 shot groups consistently were within 2" by two different shooters.
The price is well worth the performance, in my opinion, for an excellent product used in a lightweight protection handgun.
