This is .223 Dynamic Research Technologies 55gr HP Lead Free Fragmenting Once Fired Brass Ammo. Dynamic Research Technologies lead-free projectile is a revolutionary round. The bullet breaks apart on contact with a solid surface. DRT ammunition is a highly accurate frangible ammunition that has terminal effects on the target. The high density frangible bullet has tremendous centrifugal force when entering the target and upon penetration the core turns to powder in its original composition. This ammo is brass cased, boxer primed, non-magnetic, and non-corrosive. Comes loose packed in 40rd. bags.

I have shot a many thousand rounds of this ammo, killed many deer and hogs with this ammo. Never had any problems with feeding, failure to fire. Deadly on game of any kind. MOA accuracy. This is all I shoot.

I've been hunting with this stuff for 2 years as have my brother and my friend. 4 deer taken, no misfires in all the rounds used for sighting in and the 4 shots at deer. Never had a deer make it 30 yards. I have some gruesome pictures of what it does to a deers insides, it's devastating. A tiny pencil hole in, no exit wound, all the energy goes into destroying the viscera.

This is my goto hunting round in 5.56, no lead in the meat and devastating to animals.

YO THIS STUFF IS OVERPRICED, CHEAP CRAP, BUT IT WORKS AND I DON'T THINK ITS DANGEROUS BECAUSE ENOUGH POWDER IN CASE SHOULD KEEP THE SLUG/PROJECTILE FROM DIVING TOO DEEP BACK INSIDE CASE...NEED BULLET AND PRIMERS CRIMPED, PLUS CASE *FULL* OF "SLOWER BURNING" POWDER..RDS MAY BE A LITTLE TOO LONG FOR AR MAGS !!

DO NOT SHOOT! DO NOT BUY! In the first 10 rds I had two failure to feeds due to the bullet being PUSHED INTO THE CASE. Potential to blow your face off. Shot from Ruger SR-556 with Magpul.
