NobelSport casts their 0.110" diameter shot pellets to a uniform size to promote consistent ballistic performance, but they also harden their lead with antimony. The metalloid prevents the lead pellets from flattening out too much during ignition, which preserves the spherical profiles they need to establish and maintain a thick spread.
