Fiocchi Ammunition 158 Grain Jacketed Hollow-Point (JHP) Ammo Details

Fiocchi Munizioni is a family-owned ammunition business headquartered in Lecco, Italy. Established in 1876 by Giulio Fiocchi, the company has become a world leader in ammunition production. Products for Fiocchi’s American market base are manufactured at their state-of-the-art facility in Ozark, Missouri.

This package contains 25 rounds of Fiocchi .357 Magnum ammunition. Each factory fresh cartridge is loaded with a 158 grain XTP jacketed hollow point projectile. Designed by Hornady, a superstar in the ammo industry, XTP (eXtreme Terminal Performance) is one of the industry’s most popular handgun bullets for self-defense, target shooting, and hunting.

Each XTP projectile is divided into symmetrical sections by precise serrations in the gilding metal jacket. These strategic serrations weaken the jacket and aid terminal expansion, even at lower velocities. Additionally, the entire hollow point is encased in the jacket. With no exposed lead, the cavity functions perfectly on target impact providing generous expansion. This smooth design also ensures proper feeding in modern semi-automatics.

This non-corrosive ammunition is boxer primed and features high-quality nickel-plated brass cases. Nickel-plated brass provides reliable feeding and function and easier loading in low light self-defense situations. Each round produces a muzzle velocity of 1250 feet per second and a muzzle energy of 548 foot pounds.

This ammo cycles my new Coonan .357 Auto with no problems. The heavy Bullet proving enough recoil energy with new spring to push the slide all the way back ton cycle another round into battery. Once you go .357 Auto like the Coonan you enjoy the recoil. As they say This is not your first gun! Good price too.

Purchased 500 rounds a few years back, no misfires, no issues, consistent round. highly recommend this product. Was just returning to reorder from ammo to go and realized that I had not provided any feedback. Good value for good ammo.
