Blind SIde is Winchester’s deadliest waterfowl load, providing 15 percent more pellets per shell and increasing trauma-inducing power by 250 percent.

Each factory fresh 3-inch 12 gauge shotshell is loaded with 1 ⅜ ounces of hex shaped #3 steel shot. The unique hexagonal shape of these pellets allows them to effectively cut through tough feathers, deliver deep penetration, and produce effective wound channels. The hex shape also allows tighter stacking for extra pellets in the shot cup. Tighter stacking also leaves room for bigger powder charges, improving velocity and down-range accuracy. The increased powder charge allows these loads to produce a blistering muzzle velocity of 1400 feet per second.

Another dynamic feature of Winchester Blind Side is the exclusive Diamond-cut wad. Engineered to effectively manage shot density, these wads stretch the “kill zone” by 25 percent. A hinged wad column also increases velocity while reducing perceived recoil, allowing faster shot recovery and accurate follow-up shots.
