Liberty Ammunition 50 Grain Solid Copper Hollow Point (SCHP) Ammo Details

This is 9mm Luger Liberty Civil Defense Ammunition 50 grain lead free solid copper hollow point Ammo. These rounds use patented high performance, lead-free technology which makes them especially safe for indoor use. The rounds provide three times the terminal effects with a dramatic reduction in felt recoil allowing for quicker follow up shots on target. The lightweight lead-free hollow point bullet combined with a high muzzle velocity of 2,040 feet per second will result in explosive fragmentation in the target without over-penetration. This ammo is nickel coated brass cased, boxer primed, non-magnetic and non-corrosive. It comes packed in 20 round boxes.

These rounds are loaded to +P pressure so make sure firearm is as well before shooting.

Ran 200 rounds out of my G19 gen 4 no failures. Wound channel was devastating. I still like Hornady critical duty, but this is now in both my G19 & G43. Highly recommended.

Worst 9 mm I've ever shot. Bought 2 boxes. Multiple Failures to Feed (FF) and Failures to Eject (FE), combined with the equally annoying Stove Pipes (SP). I would say at least every third round provided a FF, FE or SP situation. Gun was a well broken in Glock 19 Gen 4; previously and since shooting Liberty 50 gr. I've never had any malfunction of any kind with any 9 mm Luger/Parabellum ammunition in a Glock. Not recommended for social work.

Slightly lighter recoil than standard FMJ Lawman practice ammo, not much more muzzle flash either. But good accuracy, happy with the groupings at 7 yards (first time at the range in a while). Does make for a noticeably lighter magazine to carry, and so a lighter gun to carry concealed. Overall happy with it the rounds, 2000 feet per second is something to watch out for if you're a bad guy. I'm happy to have these in my mags.
