GRIFFIN MARSH.... 100% correct. This round is strictly a hollow clay block round to convince people of its greatness. Won't penetrate 1/8th leather. I trust his ballistic testing he does have excellent setups. I would not recommend this for defense

I've ordered well over 100 rounds. I don't have anymore and don't plan on getting anymore. The company is out of business so there's no telling how old your ammo is. They are building it up as this great allbpurpose round. Barnes Green Frangible is still the top dog. Back to RBCD This round is made for shooting bricks of clay and getting ( ' ooh's & ah's ). When doing test ballistics test ( I am a certified gunsmith and what I feared DA's with all TFr's they tend to prematurely expand ). From a 9mm to a .45acp, there's WAY to much premature penetration. Sweaters, Leather Jackets, even T Shirts with a wind breaker can cause this ammo to prematurely open. VERY disapointed it's been advertised as such a great round when shooting a leather jackets you find nothing more than than the round completely fragmented without any penetration of the epidermis.

Now all that said I based my review as a defense ammunition.

Now as far as hunting, well placed shots that is through thin skin parts of a white tail such as right behind the front leg of the animal or a direct front shot to the chest will leave a cavity from a RBCD 7.62!X39 will put a cavity in the animal 3-4 in mches in total circumference.

So are they the ammo for defense? Absolutely not especially in handgun Rounds. Is it a good hunting round? As long as you can shoot you won't need another brand

Thanks for hearing my personal review

    Thank you all

picked some up the other day, shipping was lightning fast, 2 1/2 day? velosity is not on box, lapua brass. bullet seems to have graphite talc on it and its inside the box were the round touches the sides. It will get all over your hands. serious looking stuff. seated in really tight or it looks that way. can't find velosity on line anywere.
