These rounds are ideal for die-hard fans of the flat-shooting .264 Winchester Magnum who are on the hunt for big elks and mule deer! These Serbian made rounds from Prvi Partizan use fine components including new brass casings and non-corrosive Boxer primers. Each reloadable casing is filled with precisely measured, high-energy propellant and topped off with a pointed soft-point (PSP) projectile. The PSP design possesses the same smooth feeding and drag resistance as a convention FMJ round but with an exposed lead tip protruding from the copper jacket.
Upon impact with a game animal, the small lead portion initiates expansion while the long size of the jacketed .264 Win Mag projectile places a heavier emphasis on penetration. As a result, this round will efficiently punch through tough hide and bone while deforming at a controlled rate starting from the tip. This causes maximum energy to be dumped into into vital zones of large game for quick, humane drops with little chance for over-penetration.
Prvi Partizan has been around since 1928 and is well known as a large commercial exporter as well as the main source of munitions provided to Serbian military and law enforcement. Their intimate knowledge of cartridge craftsmanship allows them to manufacture more obscure calibers as well as hard to find vintage cartridges.
