I bought 100 rounds of Silver Bear and Brown Bear to compare the two. My local range only allows hollow point ammo so these two seemed to fit the bill. The Silver Bear performed flawless where the Brown Bear had issues. 2-3 rounds per mag of the Brown double fed, didn't eject completely etc. I have a M&P 15 and using Pmags. I will be purchasing the Silver Bear from now on, this is a great value on hollow point ammunition.

I will start off by saying this is not the worlds highest quality ammo nor should you think that it is. With that said, i love it! I have not had one failure in any way at all with this ammo in my AR-15. I have shot around 400 rounds of this silver bear and I'll continue to use this ammunition and would recommend it to anyone who is on a budget or just likes to plink at the range. It cycles well, its pretty damn accurate at 100 yards. If you have a good set up, I'd say you will get sub 3 moa easily. The only negative is that yeah it is dirty, but what can you expect from 27 cent munitions. Just keep your gun lubricated and clean and i suspect you will love it as much as i do!

I cant say i would recommend this to a friend because ive tried to use this ammo multiple times now and every time its the same story i load my ar and fire 1 round then i have to reload the gun again because it won't fully cycle with this round... on a side note i used some or the golden bears and they worked great for the extra couple bucks i would rather have the golden bear ammo.

Shot 40 rounds of this through my un-broken in AR-15 and it performed flawlessly. Did detect a difference in the powder odor as compared to traditional brass cased ammo, but it is not overpowering or nasty. Great ammo for the price and for a hollow point loading no less. You won't find a better price for HP's!

I have shot over 1000rds of this ammo and only had a problem with one round the primer. Would buy this ammo again haven't tried to see how accurate the ammo is yet but from qualification to just plinking it's always hit its target if I did my part.
