Winchester Ammunition 125 Grain Jacketed Hollow-Point (JHP) Ammo Details

Winchester’s Defender line of ammunition is designed to surpass the ballistics called for by FBI test protocol. As such, few rounds are poised to deliver as much as this 357 Magnum is in a self-defense scenario.

This cartridge sports a 125 grain projectile. The bullet’s hollow point results in expansion up to 1.5 times its original diameter to optimize its stopping power. Its jacket is notched so that expansion can occur along six uniform axes. Because the bullet’s core and jacket have been connected so thoroughly together by Winchester’s proprietary bonding process, this bullet is able to penetrate deeply without forfeiting very much of its weight in the process.

This round features a nickel plated brass casing. Nickel is inherently resistant to corrosion, a trait it imparts to this round to ensure that it will be ready for action when action is ready for you. Nickel’s superior lubricity will further promote smooth ejection should you chamber this round in a semi-automatic pistol.
