These 3" shells fire a 1-1/2 oz. column of BB shot at a muzzle velocity of 1,300 feet per second. BB shot is perfect for varmints as it produces enough penetration to kill smaller pest animals but not enough to over-penetrate other objects. This ammunition comes in 100-shell cases and is made in Oxford, Mississippi using dependable 209 primers and Shot-Lok resin-based buffers. Shot-Lok buffers are formed in the shell to match the shape of the shot and provide maximum protection against deformation. This means more shot inside the pattern and fewer useless "flyers."
