This is a 40mm Mil-Spec. Long Range Red Smoke Grenade. These 40mm smoke grenades are manufactured by ALS Technologies, and are currently being used by our military in Iraq. These 40mm smoke grenades can be fired from any 40mm launcher. They will shoot approximately 150 yards down range and will release a thick cloud of red smoke for 30 seconds. These 40mm grenades are the real deal, they are manufactured to U.S Mil-spec. using an all metal casing. These Grenades are used for training and screening purposes and are also very effective in creating a diversion for certain tactical operations. All smoke grenades will be shipped in ammo cans.
