This is a live U.S. Military 40mm White Star Parachute Flare. These are used to illuminate the battlefield for manuvers and enemy location. These have gotten extremely hard to find. I received these in a sealed crate, so they are fresh. These are completely legal for you to own. They will make a great conversation peice or can be fired if you have a 40mm launcher.
